Commonly Asked Questions about Becoming a Member
Q: What are the requirements to join?
A: You must be 21 years of age, an American Citizen and believe in God. You may not have been convicted of a felony, be a member of a Communist Party, or been discharged from the United States military with less than an honorable discharge.
Q: What does it cost to join?
A: Currently there is a one time initiation fee of $100 and annual dues of $61.25. There is a one time charge of $5 for a keycard unless you lose or break it.
Q: How long does it take to join?
A: Normally about 2 months from the time you submit your application. If you submit your application in June or July, it may take longer as we do not normally perform initiations in July and August.
Q: Do I have to appear before becoming a member?
A: Yes, you are required to appear before the Investigating Committee and you must attend Indoctrination and Initiation.
